We would like to leave you with the impression that we bring heaven to earth when you dine at Su Hong. Su Hong represents the combination of two great cities Su (or Suzhou in province of Jiangsu) and Hong (or Hongzhou in province of Zhejiang) on the east coast of mainland China near Shanghai. An ancient Chinese proverb reads as

"In Heaven There is Paradise, on Earth Suzhou-Hongzhou!"

This is because the two cities are famous for their magnificent natural beauty, economic prosperity, most wonderful foods, and a uniquely rich and artistic cultural heritage. These are one of the most heavily visited cities in China with more than twenty million visitors per year from all over the world.

Located west of Shanghai, Suzhou's claim is for its fabulous array of romantic gardens, which have earned the city the worldwide title of the Garden City. The natural scenery of hills and water in Suzhou is charming and breathtaking. The people are honest, hospitable and good-natured.

Honzhou, just few hours southwest of Shanghai, puts you in a setting of serenity with the famous West Lake (Xihu Lake) and its naturally landscaped shoreline. The city enjoys a prosperous farming economy in tea, rice, wheat and corn. In fact, the celebrated Long Jing (Dragon Well) green tea is produced in this region. Hongzhou is also China's finest and most prized silk producing region.

Both Suzhou and Hongzhou are considered the best places to live in China. In short, Su Hong is heaven on Earth!
